Hi there! My name is Malia and 24 and I’m from a small Midwestern town in the United States. For the past five years I have thrived working as a whitewater river guide in Colorado and traveling around the globe in my off season. This year I'd like to hit two birds with one stone and work as a paddle guide or as an outdoors instructor at the very least. I have a passion for nature and love to take others on adventures in the great outdoors.

For the last four summers I’ve worked as a whitewater river guide in Colorado. I commercially guide on all four sections of Clear Creek class IV+ and work on Gore Canyon class V on the upper Colorado River. Last fall I guided on the Balsa River class III in Costa Rica. Other rivers I’ve boated on include the Lower Salmon and Snake River, Ocoee, Upper and Lower Gauley, New River Gorge, the Numbers, Browns Canyon, the Royal Gorge, Ruby Horseshoe and Westwater.
