My name is Amber. I’m from Belgium and fell in love with kitesurfing about 2,5 years ago. I’ve been working freelance for 5 years as a Graphic Designer. After 5 years spending my days behind a computer it was time for something more exciting!
So I did my IKO course and became a freelance kite instructor. At the moment I work at a kiteschool in the Netherlands. But the season is almost over. I would love to continue giving kite lessons this winter. That’s why I’m looking for a little more tropic place. I’m also looking forward to meet new people in the kite world.
I worked for 2 summers for 3 months at kiteschools in Portugal (Alvor and Obidos). For this summer I worked at the kiteschool of Eurofuncenter at Brouwerdam in the Netherlands. I taught in lagoons and in open sea. I’m used to teach in hip deep water. In the netherlands you have all sorts of winds so I got used to different and varying wind conditions. From light wind, to gusty conditions to very strong wind.

I’m available from the beginning of December until the end of March. But open to stay longer if requested. I’m staying currently in Belgium. But I’m flexible in traveling.
