I lived in the backcountry of Western North Carolina and taught primitive living and survival skills to at-risk youth for four years and have led hundreds of extensive backcountry expeditions for groups of adolescents and adults alike. Additionally I am a wilderness emergency medicine professional, and teach emergency medicine as well.
Crisis Prevention & Intervention, Wilderness First Responder, EMT-B, over 30 different certificates for working with adolescents, particularly those requiring therapeutic support.
