Currently a full time student at Bay House Sixth Form, I am in year 13 (from September 2022) to complete my A-Levels (May-June 2023) in Psychology, Business and Product Design. My attendance in school and college has always been extremely high where I am described as mature, hardworking and intelligent by my teachers.
I have been sailing since I was very young - crewing for my dad, yachting with my grandparents and just being out on the water regularly. In the last 4 years I took it more seriously, getting my own Laser and joining our local sailing club, Stokes Bay.
Selected for the opportunity to join the local ILCA training group, this has helped me to continue to improve with a team of keen Southern youth sailors.
I have competed in local club racing and enjoy exploring on the water while sailing with my friends. I regularly volunteer with the youth sailing group in my club and the adult racing. This led me to want to teach sailing, so I completed my dinghy instructors course Oct 2021.
A few years prior I joined as a rookie lifeguard and gained the gold award, qualifying as a lifeguard when I turned 16 years.

I work one 3 hour and one 2 hour shift a week as the sole lifeguard of an 18 metre school pool. I keep the children's behaviour in check whilst also maintaining the safety of both swimmers and supervising parents.

I had a flexible hour job at the sailing club, mainly helping out on big events and Wednesday or Sunday racing. I predominantly worked on the tills but also helped with making the food and doing the washing up. Having had my boss leave, the job no longer existed and I was no longer employed. She is willing to give a reference.

I work one 4 and a half hour shift every other week as the sole lifeguard of an 18 metre school pool. I maintain the safety of the swimmers whilst also keeping behaviour in check.

I also have helped out with the the children’s squad at my local sailing club.
