My name is Josef Scherer and I am 19 years old, turning 20 in January.
I have started kiteboarding back in 2017, and from this moment on, I couldn't get it out of my mind. Thus, I have spent as much time on the water as possible, which is difficult since I live in Berlin. But stil, I could gain a lot of experience in different places with different conditions. Those include the baltic Sea in Germany and Poland, as well as Fuerteventura, and Ireland.
Apart from that, I have another little passion which is video editing.
Back in 2016, I did a 2-week-internship at one of the most prominent post production establishments in Germany/Europe: The "Rotor Film Babelsberg GmbH".
After that, I have been working on a few small clips myself. Also I have been practicing with video material from movies. All in all, I believe that I have a good sense for aesthetics, especially when it comes to multimedia. And even more important, I have a lot of fun doing it.
Since then, I have been teaching at the baltic Sea for two weeks and once again in Sicily.
Therefore I don't have too much teaching experience, however, Ih have learned a lot about the internal structures of a kite school, even before I was an instructor. Also, I would describe myself as a professional and extremely motivated teacher. I just love sharing the passion I have for kiteboarding and learning new things myself. Also, I won't hesitate to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed.
