Koala Sanctuary Ranger Required.

What the Job will be about:

• Combination of animal enclosure cleaning, leading 2 hour wildlife presentations with small groups, leading breakfast with the Koala's, your self motivation and efficiency is a must with our guest interaction. 
• Permanent Part time Job Offer - 25 - 29 hours guaranteed each week + annual leave + other entitlements
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills and a knack to engagement in public speaking is essential.
• Your ability to understand and be willing to learn all facets of the position.
• Outdoors work, conducting tours and physical labour in Tropical North Queensland. Above average fitness and or stamina is required, your natural enthusiasm and knowledge showcasing your passion for Australian wildlife to the public is essential.
• Being accountable to work unsupervised and showcase initiative in the workplace is valued. 

  Why you would be a successful candidate:

• Passion of Australian Wildlife and an Educator at heart. Animal husbandry and or zoo experience advantageous.
• Previous tour guiding, hospitality or wildlife based tourism advantageous
• A PERSONALITY IS A MUST - Bring it with you to your shift
• A proven history of multi tasking in your jobs - its essential in our team.........

• Living on Magnetic island:

• First 2 weeks is included when moving to Magnetic Island to stay with us on site at managements discretion.
• Many rooms, units and houses to move into, a community based island with 1500 local residents call Maggie Island home.
