SNORKEL ATTENDANT 

We are hiring Snorkel Attendants! Apply today to join our Ohana! The Snorkel Attendants provide rental snorkel equipment at Hanauma Bay. The attendant ensures only paid guests are utilizing the equipment and keeps these areas in clean and safe condition. The Attendant also ensures guest safety by communicating hazards and immediately contacting lifeguards and management in the event of serious injury. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests in a courteous manner. 

Properly prep and issue rental equipment. 

Ensure only paid guests are utilizing the equipment. 

Ensure snorkel shack is in clean & safe condition. 

Warn guests of inclement weather and unsafe areas. 

Contact lifeguards and management in case of serious injury to guests. 

Provide superior customer service and be safety oriented. 

Consistently practice the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and guests. 

Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Weekend Availability 

Pre-employment drug test. 

Current TB clearance. 

Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred. 

Previous work experience in customer service or as a Beach Attendant, Pool Attendant or Lifeguard preferred. 

Bilingual a plus! (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin) 

Must be US Citizen or have US Work Permit 

SKILLS:
Excellent customer service skills. 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

Time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. 

Problem analysis and problem-solving skills. 

Initiative and adaptability. 

Detail oriented. 

Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

Ability to work outside in varying conditions.
