Kitesurf : HOW TO GET STARTED
You’ll need to be at least 18 to be an instructor and up to date First Aid and CPR certification. Then you’ll need to earn your certificate as a Level 1 Instructor. You’ll need to be a capable kite surfer, and have your own gear. Some schools will have gear you can borrow.
As Level 1 Instructor you can teach two students with one kite. To reach Level 2 Instructor you need to pass an online exam, and have booked in at least 160 teaching hours to at least 20 students. Once you are a Level 2 Instructor you can set up your own school. There are some fast track courses that can get you to a qualified Instructor in just a few months.
