A storm named nicknamed Stormin' Norman battered resorts and dropped some of the most snow in 18 years around the Victorian and New South Wales alps. Perisher had 71 cm of snow in 3 days. Hotham had wasn't even open yet when they got a meter of snow. And Thredbo got 85 cm earlier in the month.
